Electro-Flotation

Provides liquid – solid and liquid – liquid separation in wastewater treatment system, typically used to remove light, floatable materials like fats, oils, and greases. This separation typically follows main treatment as discussed, or as a primary separator for pre-treatment before precipitation. Our process patent incorporates the Electrocoagulation—Electro-Oxidation. Reactor into the recirculation / repressurization loop of a DAF clarifier to utilize the oxidant gases for flotation (separation) within the clarifier.

A Mixed Oxidant Generator apparatus may be retrofitted into existing DAF clarifiers or sold under OEM agreements to other DAF manufacturers. This incorporates all of our patents and technologies. The unit can oxidize organics and/or kill bacteria simultaneously with clarification. This is huge in many applications, but it is especially advantageous for the oil and gas produced water treatment market.
